I use an assortment of analog outboard processing hardware for mastering and certain mix elements, listed below.

Outboard Processing Hardware

In addition to analog processing, I use an assortment of plugins for mixing and mastering in areas where precision is needed.

Mastering Software

iZotope Ozone 10 Advanced, various other plugins from Brainworx, MeldaProduction, Softube, UAD, Waves and many other brands.

DAW

I mainly use ProTools for mixing and mastering, although I use Ableton Live 10 (Standard) when needed and I am also familiar with it.

It’s important to capture a source at it’s best and so I use the following equipment to track and record.

Tracking Equipment

Art Voice Channel, Presonus Quantum 2626, Zoom H8,

Microphones

Microphones are to the producer/engineer as cameras are to the photographer, or indeed brushes to the painter. It’s good to have a collection that suits multiple uses, styles, spaces and recording situations.
